Monofilament Mesh Fabric

High precision open mesh monofilament fabrics for industrial and consumer use. 100% polyester is extruded in diameters from 55 to 385 µm (0.0022 to 0.015 in). The mesh openings are from 59 per cm (150 per in) to 7 per cm (17 per in) with fabric thicknesses from 98 to 1000 µm (0.0038 to 0.039). The fabrics are offered in a wide range of colors, and also in different polymers such as nylon, polyethylene and polypropylene. They may be coated with metals such as aluminum, copper, gold, nickel, silver, with graphic effects also applied to the surface of the fabric. Applications include filters for air conditioners, blood transfusion, drains, and audio speakers, as well as automotive and industrial applications.

ELPET_TEXTOMA

Elastomer mesh comprised of monofilament polyester (PET; polyethylene terephthalate) and monofilament elastomer in a 2 x 2 twill weave construction. Monofilament elastomer in the weft provides moderate one directional stretch with good rebound, while retaining the strength and structure of the textile overall. Open weave provides breathability and partial visual transparency. Two thicknesses of elastomer weft are available, 0.03 and 0.07 mm diameter (0.001 and 0.003 in). Currently the mesh is only offered in black. Customization is available through special order, including weave variation and color. The manufacturing facility is ISO 9001 certified. Applications include bags, boxes, shoes, accessory cases for electronics, furniture, and non-structural architecture.
